New Model EFSS - Self Supported Furnace Extensometer:   Model EFSS is the latest addition to our extensometer line. Designed with our new, patent pending mounting system, this innovative design eliminates the bending moment and resultant measurement errors and zero shift found in the competition’s units. Model EFSS also uses simplified attachment cords free of the troublesome, failure prone, crimped metal ends. As such, our attachment cords last much longer and lower your lab’s operating cost. Easy to mount and adjust, model EFSS is designed to improve your lab’s data and productivity.


New Model CESH - High Resolution Extensometer Calibrator:   Based on our model CES calibrator stand, our model CESH adds a high resolution indicator with a high quality, stand-alone, LCD display.  With a full 2 inches [50 mm] of measuring range and resolution to 5 micro-inches [0.0001 mm], model CESH will meet your most demanding calibration needs. The display features easy units selection, a zero offset button, and a resolution selection button.   The LCD display can be run off 120 VAC or directly off your computer's USB port.

This patent pending design uses a digital indicator and a separate lead screw.   As such, our calibrator is more accurate and not prone to read-out errors due to a sticking / dirty ball slide or excessive return spring force (unlike micrometer head based units).  This calibrator is also designed around a much stiffer frame than other brands to keep deflection errors to a minimum.

All Reliant extensometers feature a full, strain gage bridge design and are compatible with most any brand test equipment.  Each unit comes with a factory inspection certificate, a spare parts kit, and a quality, foam lined, plastic case.

All of our extensometers comply with both ASTM E83 & ISO 9513 standards.   Each unit comes with a full, one-year warranty.
