Our model
CES digital electronic calibrator is a precise instrument designed
for ease of use and rugged, long-lasting durability. Unlike competing models, our calibrator uses a digital indicator and separate
lead screw. As such, our calibrator is more accurate and not prone to read-out errors due to
a sticking / dirty ball slide or excessive return spring force (unlike the micrometer head based units).
Our calibrator is also designed around a much stiffer frame than other brands to keep
deflection errors to a minimum.

Also, our calibrator allows for easier and more accurate extensometer attachment.
Its lower mounting post can be easily adjusted with the turn of a knob, while its
dove-tail design keeps it in perfect alignment. For calibration of transverse
extensometers, our low-profile, mounting post blocks allow closer mounting to the
calibrator's center-line; reducing errors due to deflection of
adapter posts.
Our calibrator features an easy to read, digital display with both a units and zero button. The display
can be changed from inches to millimeters with the press of a button and the zero button makes
calibration easier while reducing the chance of operator error. Our calibrator also features a full
2 inches [50 mm] of measuring range and 50 micro-inches [0.001 mm] resolution.
Our calibrator comes with either Ø3/8 inch [9.52 mm] or Ø1/4 inch
[6.35 mm] smooth, round, adapters. In addition, a vast array
of adapters are available for calibrating transverse, diametral, and
Clip-On gages.
Each calibrator is supplied with an inspection certificate traceable to NIST and
a rugged, foam lined, storage case.
