Description

Model ETB is designed specifically for measuring yield and the low strain measurements typically found in proof testing bolts and similar samples.

The standard configuration allows testing bolt lengths from 25 mm (1.000") to 150 mm (6.000"). For testing longer bolts, extension beams are readily available.

Model ETB is easily attached to a sample via two replaceable, carbide conical points. It is designed to be self-supported and attach without the need of punch or centering marks.  The lower attachment arm assembly includes a zero adjustment thumb screw and a "break-away" lower attachment arm to prevent damage in the event of bolt failure.

Designed around our innovative and rugged crossed-flexure module, this model also features a durable, one-piece upper mount with built-in mechanical stops to ensure a long service life.

With a full bridge, 350 ohm, strain gaged design, model ETB is compatible with most test systems and signal conditioning electronics design for strain gage based transducers. Reliant can provide stand-alone electronics to allow the use of data acquisition boards (DAQ), chart recorders or other test equipment.

Cable: Standard 2.5 m (8 ft), ultra-flexible cable.

Quick Mounting System: Replaceable tungsten carbide conical tips eliminate the need for center / punch marks.

Operating Force: Typically less than 50 g.
